Advisory groups
Four advisory groups - engineering, legal, wellbeing and homeowner - have been established as part of the system-wide approach to support GCCRS help people with unresolved claims.

Legal Advisory Group
The Legal Technical Advisory Group consists of legal experts to ensure continuity between GCCRS and the Canterbury Earthquakes Insurance Tribunal which is being considered by Parliament.

Homeowner Advisory Group
The Homeowner Advisory Group has been formed to ensure GCCRS meets the needs of homeowners. It monitors issues and opportunities, and provides feedback and advice.

Wellbeing Advisory Group
The Wellbeing Reference Advisory Group is an extension of the existing All-of-Government psycho-social committee that was formed after the 2010-2011 earthquakes. It will provide feedback and advice on wellbeing issues and opportunities for homeowners.

Engineering Advisory Group
The Engineering Advisory Group provides input to the GCCRS Advisory Committee on engineering issues, recommends system improvements and ensures engagement with stakeholders and interest groups within the engineering network.
